New Hire Orientation Packet

During the Summer of 2018, I interned as a Store & Social Media Manager for my local XXI Forever store. During the hiring process of new employees, the Store Manager and I expressed concerns with orientation paperwork. Not only was it not catered to our specific store, but it lacked important safety information. I was tasked with going through the company issued paperwork & picking out all the important information that would be required for the new packet.

After Store Manager approval, I was given complete creative freedom to make the New Hire Orientation Packet which came to life through Adobe InDesign & Canva. The packet’s color scheme was pulled from company logo colors and colors in the store. To make the packet as store-specific as possible, I used my Sony a5100 to capture elements of our store [exterior, sales floor, loss prevention, mannequins, etc.] which were edited in Adobe Photoshop. The pages were created in InDesign while the templates came from Canva.
